Dr. Darin Cummings is a trusted and experienced optometrist who has been serving the Central Utah community since 2000. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry and brings decades of clinical expertise to his work at Rocky Mountain University Eye Institute.

Dr. Cummings specializes in diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, with a strong focus on conditions such as diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, keratoconus, macular degeneration, and cataracts. He is also actively engaged in research on dry eye disease, helping to develop and refine more effective treatment options for his patients.

Known for his compassionate care and patient-first approach, Dr. Cummings has built lasting relationships with generations of families throughout Utah. He is a proud member of both the Utah Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association and has dedicated time to international outreach, providing vision care in underserved regions, including the Dominican Republic and Mali, Africa.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Cummings enjoys time with his wife, Becky, their five children, and a growing number of grandchildren. They love exploring the outdoors, boating, traveling, snowmobiling, and RZR riding.
