Dr. Matthew Orgill graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Neuroscience and then went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry Degree from Pacific University College of Optometry. He served in the Navy in North Carolina, Japan, and Illinois, serving in various clinical and leadership capacities that included ensuring the minimum vision standards for all recruits coming into the Navy.

Professional History: Matthew S. Orgill, OD, FAAO
He also helped to manage Public Health requirements for military personnel across all branches, as well as their families, during the COVID-19 pandemic in Okinawa, Japan. A Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Orgill’s clinical interests include visual perception and binocular vision.
Dr. Orgill’s teaching responsibilities include Lead Instructor for Ocular Diagnostics and Therapeutics and Medical Optics. He is also involved in laboratory and clinical instruction and is a faculty advisor for student research projects.
